Breakfast with Santa 2024
Our 2024 Breakfast with Santa events in Etobicoke and Hamilton were another wonderful success! With the support of our SEET (Special Events & Engagement Team) volunteers, wm+a and AlphaBee teams, community partners and donors, we provided 452 gifts to children and youth and 224 gift cards to help families and caregivers with their holiday meal.
Families enjoyed a pancake breakfast, a special visit and photo with Santa, and plenty of holiday cheer. We were also pleased to provide hundreds of special cosmetic gift bags for moms and caregivers, ensuring there was a little something special for them too.
Fundraising That Makes It Possible
Throughout 2024, SEET raised an incredible $11,946 through our Online Auction, fundraising events, raffles and other initiatives. With wm+a and AlphaBee matching the funds raised, this resulted in $23,892 to support our two main community initiatives — the Back-to-School Backpack Initiative and Breakfast with Santa.
Our annual Online Auction was an important part of this success. A special thank you to our 2024 auction donors, including New Street Inc., Black Mountain Digital, A Celebrity Limousine, Nothing Bundt Cakes, ServiceMaster Etobicoke, Starbucks, Hair & Spa Retreat Burlington, Blazing Creative Agency, Harry’s Happy Vending, and many others who generously supported our efforts.
We were also proud to continue working alongside Daily Bread Food Bank, Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter and other community organizations to help reach families in our community.
Thank you to everyone who donated, bid in our auction, participated in a fundraiser, wrapped gifts, prepared breakfast, volunteered at our events or helped behind the scenes. Your support made all of this possible!
